Top Up Cancellation Cover

If the cost of your trip exceeds the cancellation limit on your existing travel insurance policy, Top Up Cancellation Cover can provide additional cover up to £50,000 per person.

Most banks, comparison sites (i.e., Moneysupermarket) and credit card policies have a set limit that does not exceed £7,000 on a travel insurance policy.

How It Works

This policy is separate from your existing travel insurance. When you make a successful cancellation or curtailment claim:

  • Your main travel insurance policy pays up to the cancellation or curtailment limit.
  • This Cancellation Top Up policy then pays the remaining outstanding amount.
  • You receive up to your chosen top-up limit on top of what your main policy pays.

Cover will only operate when the underlying limit of your main travel insurance policy is exceeded, following a successful claim.
