Before Travelling with Long COVID-19

Plan your Trip

Travel advice for COVID-19 changes frequently; we recommend following these three steps before you travel:

  1. Check travel restrictions for people in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
  2. Check the travel advice for the destination you’re travelling to. Click Here for more.
  3. It’s essential to check the FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office) Advice Checklist if you’re planning a trip overseas, especially to a high-risk destination.
  4. Get a GHIC Card before you travel and take this with you.
  5. Ensure you have your medication with you, and also check that you can replenish these at your destination.

If you still suffer from Long COVID-19 symptoms and have been diagnosed by doctors, we recommend getting a quote or adding this to your Travel Insurance policy for extra safety measures; please follow the step-by-step guide provided by JS Travel Insurance on obtaining/adding this to your policy.
