Common Injuries
Snowmobiles were first used as utility vehicles but have increasingly become used for recreational purposes.
Snow Mobilising can be extremely fun, but there are dangers. Most accidents are caused by collisions resulting in falling off the snowmobile.
As with any vehicle, Snowmobiles should not be operated under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Travel in pairs or groups if you get lost or when the snowmobile breaks down.
Wear many layers, hats, gloves and goggles to avoid catching a cold or hypothermia.
Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
If you have been Snowmobiling before and may have had an injury or accident whilst participating in Snowmobiling, you must declare this when purchasing a policy.
We have several providers who can offer travel insurance, including Snowmobiling and if you have a pre-existing medical condition.
