Skeleton Travel Insurance
If you are planning a trip and participating in the skeleton sport, purchasing a travel insurance policy before leaving home is a good idea.

Please note: We can cover the days you will participate in Skeleton if you already have a Travel Insurance policy. When obtaining a quote and purchasing a policy, you must select Adventure Party A Only, as this is the required coverage to make the policy valid.

Skeleton
Skelton is a winter sport in which an individual rides a small sledge. The rider goes down a frozen track whilst lying face down and headfirst.
Unlike other winter sports such as Bobsleigh, this sport is for individuals. The sport starts as a run from the opening gate at the top of the course. The sledge gives the person doing the event more control of the sledge.

1. Am I covered if I am injured while participating in a Skeleton Run?
You will be covered for emergency medical expenses up to £5m and repatriation to your home in the UK or the Channel Islands.
2. Am I covered for Personal Liability if I participate in this sport?
Yes, this policy does provide for Personal Liability. Our policies also cover you for personal accidents.
4. Does this policy cover me for taking part in a Bobsleigh/Cresta Run?
You must get a quote through our Bobsleigh/Cresta Run information page to cover you for this sport.
5. Can I take out a policy for everyone if I am in a group or team?
You can purchase a group policy with everyone named on the travel insurance certificate.
We do not provide coverage for you if you are a professional or if prize money is involved.
Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
We can provide you with a policy if you have pre-existing medical conditions and plan to participate in Skeleton.
Our provider (Adventures) can offer travel insurance, including Skeleton, if you have a pre-existing medical condition.
