The various Hockey types include Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, Sledge Hockey, Roller Hockey and Street Hockey, the two first ones of which are by far the most popular.

Pre Existing Medical Conditions
If you have pre existing medical conditions and you plan to participate in Hockey whilst travelling abroad, we are able to provide you with a policy. If you want to get a quote online, you can go to our dedicated website for pre existing medical conditions. When prompted you should select Hazardous Activity Pack B.

The majority of injuries sustained from the sport are as a result of direct contact during the game from either objects such as the stick or the ball, or with other players. Some of the most common injuries include:

- Ruptured ligaments
European and Worldwide Residents
We have partnered with World Nomads to provide cover if you are a Resident of another European or Worldwide country and you are planning to play Hockey whilst on your trip. These policies will also cover you if you have already left your home country and plan on taking part in Hockey.

You must ensure that you do not participate in Hockey for more than 90 days in any one Period of Insurance.
This Sport does not provide Accidental Death & Disability Benefit or Personal Liability cover.
