Do I Need to Get a Travel Insurance Policy?
You may already have a Travel Insurance policy providing benefits for the staff and pupils.
However, you will need a specific policy that covers Skiing or Snowboarding, so if an injury happens to one of the adults or students on the piste, you will need a particular cover.
Make sure there is at least one adult per 10 children on the trip

Half Term Skiing for schools is top-rated in February every year. But some schools also go at Easter. The slopes are pretty crowded, so be careful and don't ski beyond your ability.

Cancellation Cover
This is an essential element of Travel Insurance as it might be necessary for one of the adults or children to cancel or cut short the trip for reasons outside your control. You will then be able to get back the cost of travel and accommodation.
This also applies to COVID-19; should anyone test positive within 14 days of departure, they are covered for Cancellation.

This Policy does not cover re-occurring or pre-existing medical conditions unless you are 18 years or under and travelling in the United Kingdom or Europe.

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
If the child has medical conditions that the parents want to be covered, they must declare this and purchase a ski policy for them. The Policy online excludes pre-existing medical conditions, so the child or children must be covered on a separate policy.
