Sarcoma is categorized as low, intermediate or high grade. Low-grade Sarcoma is usually treatable just with surgery, although some chemotherapy and radiotherapy may be required.
Intermediate and high-grade Sarcoma are treated with a combination of the two, with high-grade sarcomas being treated more aggressively as they are more likely to metastasize (spread to different body areas).
