Types of Paragliding Competitions

Accuracy - Precision Landing

It would be best to land the Paraglide within a 20cm radius area as accurately as possible. It is a bit like a game of darts, but you are the dart, aiming for the bullseye as your landing location.

Cross Country

This is a race to get to specific points in the air, which are designated and accumulate as many as 1000 points.

Hike and Fly

You Fly! You will hike up a mountain carrying all your Paragliding Equipment once you reach the designated take-off point.

Acrobatics

These are stunts done in the air and, like Cross Country, probably the most dangerous of the competitions. This is often done in non-mountainous areas to reduce the risk of accidents.
