Medical Questions

When getting a quote for Travel Insurance to cover this condition, you will be asked several questions.

  • What type of disease do you (or did you) have?
  • Have you been advised to have any treatment for this condition in the last five years?
  • At what age was the diagnosis made?

Travel Advice

You are advised not to travel on long trips whilst in treatment as the therapy compromises your immune system. Air travel is awful for contracting airborne illnesses.

You should also not receive any vaccinations during treatments and for up to 6 months afterwards because of your weakened immune system.

If it is necessary to travel, take anti-bacterial wipes for all surfaces you will encounter.

If taking medication, ensure you bring a plentiful supply and keep it in hand luggage in case of delays or loss of baggage.
