Lapland is also one of the best spots in the world to witness the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights), and there are many hotels with glass panellings on the ceilings or glass igloos where you can watch from the comfort of a warm and comfortable bed.

Many companies provide Lapland Snow Guarantee Cover (i.e., if there is no snow, they will change your trip's dates without charge). We can offer something similar with our travel insurance policy.

Book your travel insurance policy within 14 days of departure, and you will have a "cooling off period" where you can cancel your policy and receive a full refund.

Also, if your dates of travel change within those 14 days due to the lack of snow, we will happily change your cover dates at no extra charge.

Snowmobiling Travel Insurance in Lapland

Snowmobiling is a popular way to spend time in Lapland; You must be over 18. You can hire one and drive the snowmobile or be a passenger.

There is no cover for personal liability with these policies, but that should be provided by the company from which you hire the snowmobile. It would be best if you looked at them before hiring the snowmobile. If they don't have this in place, then you should walk away and find a supplier who does.

Our Travel Insurance policy covers snowmobiling, and you are fully covered for medical expenses up to £10m should you have an accident and need medical treatment.
