Zorbing Travel Insurance:

Zorbing is a sport that involves rolling down a hill in a transparent orb. The sport can also be done on a flat surface, to give the person inside more control over the orb, or using ramps. Zorbing can be done in a harnessed or non harnessed orb. The non harnessed orbs can carry more than one person at a time. Harness orbs can accommodate up to two riders strapped in at a time.

Whilst zorbing can be done on flat surfaces or using structures such as ramps, it is most popular when it can be done on a natural hill or slope.

Adrenaline seekers will tend to seek out the steepest possible hill or slope for zorbing, to increase the thrill of the sport.

This means it is a sport that can be done in most places across the world. Rural areas tend to be better for it, though, as they are more likely to provide the appropriate landscape.

The sport originated in New Zealand and is now a popular tourist attraction for people who travel to the area.

Zorbing is an extreme sport and, as with most sports, it is possible to sustain an injury whilst zorbing and there have been cases of this happening in the past.

If you already suffer from an illness or previous injury then zorbing is not a sport that you should try.

Because of this, it is important to purchase travel insurance that covers the sport before leaving the country if you wish to go zorbing.
