For Slovenian citizens travelling, the visa requirements will vary depending on where you are travelling to.

Slovenian citizens are able to travel to any other country within the European Union without a Visa. Travelling outside of the EU: You will need a Visa to travel to a country outside of the EU.

Visas can be acquired either:

Importing Products:
You are allowed to bring a certain amount of products with you into Slovenia after going outside of the country.
If you have been on holiday outside of the EU, you will be able to bring back a smaller number of items than if you have been on holiday withhin the EU. For example, you will be allowed to take back fewer cigarrettes from Russia than if you had been on holifay in Spain.
You will not be able to bring animal products back into Slovenia once you have been abroad.
Travelling with pets: There are a number of things to consider if you wish to tavel with a domestic pet. Check with the airline for their specific policies on taking animals with you.
It may be that you have to check your animals as baggage.
Most of the time, you will need a certificate from a certified vet declaring that your pet is free from disease.
