Kidney Stones are crystals made up of salts and minerals (such as calcium). They form in the kidney when there is too much waste in too little urine. After a Kidney Stone is formed the stone may stay in the kidney or travel down the urinary tract into the ureter. The stone will gradually get larger unless it is passed out of the body in the urine.
