Jet Boating is the act of moving across a body of water on a craft that propels itself by ejecting a jet of water from the back of the craft.

There is no propeller and the water is ejected by a pump underneath the boat.

Jet sprinting is a popular sport involving racing jetboats through a series of twisting channels in water under a metre deep.
