Do you cover pregnancy?
The travel restrictions regarding pregnancy is we do nogt provide cover if you are 11 weeks before the expected date of delivery, as long as you are not travelling against any health requirements stipluated by the airline, travel agents or other public transport provider.
Travel Insurance only covers your pregnancy should complications arise with the pregnancy due to accidental injury or unexpected illness, which occurs while on your trip.
The unborn child is also covered and if you were to give birth whilst away, the child would be covered automatically under the existing policy.
You are not however covered if the purpose of the trip is to give birth.
