Does Travel Insurance include Search and Rescue?

Search and Rescue is covered under Medical Assistance. However there are some points to be noted. Travel Insurance will only cover air ambulance and mountain recovery if the rescue team are aware of your location. For example, it will not cover a search of the mountain, if you have not been located, by the time the rescue team have been dispatched.
