New Technology for Mobile Phone
Mobile Manufacturers have now developed a phone which can alert the customer to the threat of a lightning strike by sounding an alarm. This is particularly useful for golfers and anglers.
The new phone detects radio waves given off by lightning miles away. The worst lightning occurs where there is no real warning, clear skies and no visible clouds.
Another Mobile facility is where the phone receives updates of UV intensity and warns sunbathers of the risk of getting sunburnt.
