Theft

Should your Laptop be stolen our insurance covers this eventuality . Please report it within 48 hours and get a Police Crime Report . We will either replace your Laptop or reimburse you via BACS transfer within 72 hours of your claim .

Accidental Damage

This can happen , Laptops are easily dropped or fall off a table onto a hard surface . Our insurance covers this . The repair can be expensive depending on the damage . Liquid ingress is common and is basically water damage - see below . Often when a Laptop is dropped the accidental damage depends on the angle at which it is dropped , sometimes the screen shatters and sometimes the CD drive and the USB ports that are bent out of shape .

Water Damage

This leads to problems with the hard drive when spillage is onto the keyboard . Acidic liquids are worse than clear water.
