FAQ Question :
Is my claim valid if my computer gets stolen from an unattended car?
Yes, the claim is valid if the laptop is stolen from the locked boot of a saloon car, or when concealed under the rear parcel shelf of a locked hatchback or in the spare wheel or other closed compartment of a locked estate car. If the laptop is stolen from anywhere else in the car e.g. the back seat, then your claim is not valid. Evidence of a break in will be requested and a police report may be required. It is not covered for theft from a motor vehicle between the hours of 10pm until 6am.
